In response to demand for online homeschooling facilities, Excellence In Education in association with Abacus Educational Services is sponsoring an online schoolroom for the use of homeschoolers everywhere.

Any homeschooling parent may be added as a teacher and may create resources and activities on this site. To be added as a teacher, just post a message about yourself in the general introductions forum. Other, more formal, online courses are also available as are private online classrooms and online schools.

This is an experiment in collaborative online education. The facilities provided by the Moodle online course software used are very extensive and include quizzes, forums, chatrooms, assignments, surveys, journals, lessons, and workshops. Please see the Teacher's Manual. By using them here, other homeschooling families will benefit along with yours and you will gain from seeing what others are doing.
